Engaged in the innovation ecosystem for the past 10 years, Victor has been responsible for creating and implementing the first innovation and Legal Operations program structured by a full-service Brazilian law firm. He subsequently led the department and its multidisciplinary team for 5 years. As a lawyer, he has experience working with technology-based clients, large companies interested in open innovation, and startups. He holds a degree in Law from the University of São Paulo (FDRP-SP), a master’s degree in Business Law and Economic and Social Development from FGV-SP, and certifications in Exponential Innovation from Singularity University (USA) and as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance. He is a professor of Entrepreneurship and Legal Innovation at the Mackenzie Presbyterian University (SP) and is frequently invited as a lecturer in postgraduate and executive education courses at various institutions, including Insper (SP), FBD (BA), IDP (DF), FACAMP (SP), and Future Law (SP). He is the author of numerous publications on Law, innovation, and technology, including “Startup Law,” the first doctrinal book on the subject in Brazil, of which he is a co-author. He is also a co-founder and Vice-President of CLOB – Legal Operations Community Brazil. He has mentored at Legal Geek (UK) and the Law Without Walls program (University of Miami) and regularly participates in events and gives lectures on legal innovation.
