In December 2016, Receita Federal (the Revenue Service) opened a Public Consultation to discuss a proposal of a normative instruction related with the revenue system for capital contributions made by Angel Investors, provided in Complementary Law 123/2006.
Baptista Luz Advogados has sent its contribution considering the fact that the taxation of capital contributions made by Angel Investors may make this kind of investment unattractive.
