The Public Call No. 2/2025 has been published in the Official Gazette of the Union, launching the Regulatory Sandbox on Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection by the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
This initiative aims to establish an experimental environment allowing the ANPD to oversee the development and testing of AI projects. In this edition, the ANPD encourages the submission of innovative projects that promote algorithmic transparency.
To participate, applicants must be a legal entity under public or private law, possess technical and financial capacity, demonstrate aptitude to develop the proposed project, and not be barred from bidding or contracting with the Federal Public Administration.
Key information of the Public Call:
/ Application period: June 27 to August 10, 2025;
/ Selection of up to three participants with proven technical capacity;
/ Pilot duration until December 2026;
/ Selection criteria based on innovation, development stage, and social benefits;
/ Free participation, with no financial contribution from the ANPD
