Learn More

Sophia is a Law student at Ibmec-SP, seeking to deepen her understanding of the legal system and its practical applications. The academic journey and professional experiences provided a deeper understanding of the legal world in the digital age.

Throughout internships and collaborations, Sophia had the opportunity to work as an intern at the Federal Public Defender’s Office, which allowed her to develop valuable skills in legal research and writing. She is also an Academic Assistant to Professor Pedro Henrique Ramos, actively contributing to his doctoral research on the theme “Rethinking Digital Inclusion” and to his other teaching activities related to digital law. This experience has allowed us to explore the nuances of digital law and its interaction with social communication.

In addition to the academic and professional sphere, Sophia is an active participant in the GTech-Study Group on Innovation, Technology and Political Economy at Ibmec / SP, where she delves into the complex interactions between technology and law. She is also part of, currently as a counselor, the Ibmec / SP Human Rights Legal Clinic, where she applies legal knowledge to relevant social causes.

With a strong interest in digital law, international law, social communications and their ramifications on modern society, Sophia is eager to connect with professionals who share these interests and explore new perspectives in these constantly evolving areas.
