Thiago is a 10th semester Law student, with several experiences inside and outside Brazil that impacted his academic and professional life.

Initially, he lived for two years in the city of Rockville, Maryland in the United States, where he studied International Studies and Paralegal Studies at Montgomery College. Upon returning to Brazil, he entered the Law course at the Centro Universitário de Brasília (CEUB), developing a passion for the areas of Digital Law and Innovation and Technology.

During his undergraduate studies, he was a participant in several research groups at CEUB and other faculties, such as UnB and UFRJ. Furthermore, he had the opportunity to intern in both the public and private sectors, being an intern at the International Office of the Public Defender’s Office and at renowned law firms, focusing on the areas of International, Business, Civil and Digital Law.

In addition, he participated in several extracurricular activities, such as the International College Program at Walt Disney World, the Youth program of the Internet Steering Committee in Brazil to train young people interested in Internet Governance, and several UN simulations inside and outside Brazil.

All of these activities led him to seek a career in law, maintaining his focus on the area of Digital Law.
