From September to November 2017, the Banco Central (BCB) held the 57th Public Consultation over the new regulation on the cyber security of financial institutions.
In our contributions made to the text proposed by the BCB, we suggested the use of market standards for the transfer of data to new service providers, certification and other technical and operational matters.
We also pointed out the importance of taking security measures to ensure the protection of personal sensitive data.
